Procedure for a Proper Feng Shui Consultation

A) This is the general procedure for a Feng Shui audit of existing premises

  • Measuring of Facing Angle – This is the most important part of the audit where accurate and meticulous reading of the house’s direction is taken. Different ranges of degrees give rise to different energy charts and therefore different Feng Shui energies.
  • Plotting of Energy Chart – Based on the facing angle, the Flying Star Energy Chart for the premise is plotted, taking into consideration the building’s age and the time period of major renovations done. Once the chart is plotted, prediction of past and future events can be done to certify the correctness of the energy chart obtained.
  • Surveying External and internal environment – Surrounding environment plays a veryimportant part in Feng Shui for  premises e.g. surrounding buildings (distance, shapes and colors), roads, junctions, trees and other factors. Internal environment includes the placement of different objects within the premises and the layout and shape of the partitions and the premise. Good or bad energies in premises may be activated due to external and internal factors.
  • Determining Door, Windows and Balcony’s Energy – Based on the energy chart plotted, the quality of doors, windows and balcony’s energy can be checked. Auspicious openings are enhanced and remedies will be given for inauspicious openings.
  • Checking Toilet and Kitchen’s Location and energies – Toilet and kitchen’s location are important as it will influence the wealth, health and harmony’s aspects, remedies will be given for if they are in an inauspicious position.
  • Designing Current Walk Path – How the major sectors of the house are linked has a major impact on how the energies are interacted with each other and circulated in the premise.Recommendations will be given to provide optimal results.
  • Providing advice on Favourable Period of Stay for Owner– Energies of the premises change with time. A premise’s feng shui can also be greatly improved by carrying out major renovation at the right time.
  • Energies of Individual Rooms – The energies of the rooms are examined (including Aircon/ bed/study locations, coloursand elements) and remedies for bad sectors and enhancement for good sectors are given. 
  • Member’s Birth Data – The members’ birth data and professions are examined to determine which sectors are best suited for them.

B) These are the procedures for a Feng Shui audit of new development or buildings

  • Surveying External environment – Surrounding environment plays a very important part in Feng Shui forpremises e.g. surrounding buildings (distance, shapes and colors), roads, junctions, trees and other factors. Good or bad energies in premises would be activated, enhanced or downgraded by external factors.
  • Selecting Auspicious Facing Angle – This is the most important part for new buildings and development. In certain circumstances, even a 1 to 2 degrees discrepancy can make a great difference. The aim is to find the best angle for the building/development to harness the best auspicious energies taking into account of the surrounding environmental influence.
  • Plotting of Energy Chart –The facing angle is selected so that an optimal Flying Star Energy Chart, matching the environment, for the premise can be obtained for better Wealth, Health and Harmony aspects. With this chart predictions of future events can also be done.
  • Identifying Energies of Sectors – The best sectors are identified and reserved for the most important offices and rooms. Even with the best facing angle, there will be sectors with poor energies, these are reserved for storeroom, toilet etc.
