Feng Shui Tips -Kitchen, Sink and Stove  by Singapore FengShui Master.

If the energy of the kitchen is favorable, it is beneficial to open the kitchen door to enable the flow of good energy to other sectors of the house. Conversely, the kitchen door is to be closed. The stove and sink locations are important, however, many people are too concerned that if the sink is located beside the stove, disharmony of water and fire energy may result. The location of the sink should be related to the energy chart and not just simply assume that the sink should not be placed next to or opposite the stove.

If the “fire” energy in the kitchen is too excessive, care must be taken to neutralize this excessive element. It is important  always to keep the toilet door in the kitchen to be closed all the times so that any negative energy in the toilet does not complicate the energy of the kitchen.

It is also important to take note of the which portion of the kitchen window is auspicious and has to be opened , last but not least the kitchen’s color scheme must also be taken into consideration.

Inauspicious Feng Shui Facing Directions of premise – Singapore FengShui Master

Feng Shui Facing Directions of premise – Singapore FengShui Master.

The facing angle of a premise has great impact on Feng Shui energy. The following angles are inauspicious and are to be avoided. These angles will bring negative effects which are greatly unfavourable to wealth, health and harmony.  It is recommended to use facing angle at least of 3 degree outside the tolerance from such bad angles.  For example, 22.5 degree is unfavourable, we would need to avoid angles from 19.5 degree to 25.5 degree.

Here are the list of angles to avoid

7.5, 22.5, 37.5, 52.5, 67.5, 82.5, 97.5,

112.5, 127.5, 142.5, 157.5, 172.5, 187.5,

202.5, 217.5, 232.5, 247.5, 262.5, 277.5,

292.5, 307.5, 322.5, 337.5, 352.5

It is very important to take accurate reading of the facing angle. Due to the interference of steel reinforcement in concrete, electro-magnetic waves from electrical appliances, and other factors, it is very challenging to ensure accurate angle reading. Sometime, just by sidestepping 1 metre, the angle can change to more than 10 or 20 degree.

Different range of angles will give rise to different energy charts. Different energy chart will lead to different Feng Shui analysis.

Time Factor in Feng Shui – Singapore Fengshui Master

Time Factor in Feng Shui by Singapore Fengshui Master

Time is an important factor in Feng Shui audit. The essence of Feng Shui is to choose the best land to reside for well-being under a specific time frame. For the same house with environmental factors remaining unchanged, it will experience different Feng Shui energy going through a period of time frame.

It is meaningless to talk on Feng Shui without incorporating the time factors. For example, we need to know when the good and bad energies arrives, leaves or sustain. We will also want to know the favorable period to stay within a premise.

Feng Shui energy changes every 2 hourly, daily, monthly and yearly basis. For example, a home may be experiencing overall good Feng Shui Energy for the first two years and then experience bad energy for the third year. On the fourth year, the energy may be back to normal. This is the result of by the year’s changing energy.

By incorporating the energies corresponding to the time factor, we are able to tell past and predict the future occurrences. For example, we are able to predict the months when businesses in a premise are good or bad, or if potential health issues of the occupants  will arise.

We can anticipate when  the wealth energy is residing in our premise and to take the opportunity to harness it.  Likewise, we are able to take precaution to suppress the bad energy.

If a house is constructed according to sound Feng Shui principles its “immune system” is very strong and and is able to withstand the changing monthly and yearly energies. Conversely, if the house’s “immune system” is weak, it will be appropriate to make necessary adjustments on yearly basis.

The height and distance of trees and plants are also another important factor that will affect the quality of energy entering the premise.

Trees and plants, if planted at the right location, can also improve fame and academic performance. Trees and plants with big leaves, bring “yin” energy and can be utilized to be enhance “wealth factor. Besides, the color of flowers can be used to enhance the sector’s favorable energy.

How does Interior Renovation affect Feng Shui? – Singapore Feng Shui Master

How does Interior Renovation affect Feng Shui? Singapore Feng Shui Master

According to Feng Shui Calculations,

Period 7 is between year 1984 to 2003

Period 8 is between year 2004 to 2023

In Feng Shui, time factor is very important. If a house is constructed within the period from 1984 to 2003, it shall possess period 7’s energy chart. If this house is heavily renovated as per Feng Shui principles in 2005 (period 8), then its Feng Shui energy chart shall be changed from period 7 to period 8.

For example, a restaurant belonging to a period 7 may possess a entrance door of good wealth energy. After a major renovation in period 8, the entrance door wealth energy may be downgraded to a door with dispute/lawsuit energy. Therefore, it is always prudent to check whether it is worthwhile for a premise to undergo major renovations in another period.

For a house, repainting the wall, installing a new cabinet, changing kitchen stove or changing kitchen tiles does not qualify as a “major renovation” and therefore will not change the period of the house and therefore the energy remains the same.

What is the Procedure for a Proper Feng Shui Audit

A) This is the general procedure for a Feng Shui audit of existing premises

Living room Feng Shui

  • Measuring of Facing Angle – This is the most important part of the audit where accurate and meticulous reading of the house’s direction is taken. Different ranges of degrees give rise to different energy charts and therefore different Feng Shui energies.
  • Plotting of Energy Chart – Based on the facing angle, the Flying Star Energy Chart for the premise is plotted, taking into consideration the building’s age and the time period of major renovations done. Once the chart is plotted, prediction of past and future events can be done to certify the correctness of the energy chart obtained.
  • Surveying External and internal environment – Surrounding environment plays a very important part in Feng Shui for  premises e.g. surrounding buildings (distance, shapes and colors), roads, junctions, trees and other factors. Internal environment includes the placement of different objects within the premises and the layout and shape of the partitions and the premise. Good or bad energies in premises may be activated due to external and internal factors.
  • Determining Door, Windows and Balcony’s Energy – Based on the energy chart plotted, the quality of doors, windows and balcony’s energy can be checked. Auspicious openings are enhanced and remedies will be given for inauspicious openings.
  • Checking Toilet and Kitchen’s Location and energies – Toilet and kitchen’s location are important as it will influence the wealth, health and harmony’s aspects, remedies will be given for if they are in an inauspicious position.
  • Designing Current Walk Path – How the major sectors of the house are linked has a major impact on how the energies are interacted with each other and circulated in the premise. Recommendations will be given to provide optimal results.
  • Providing advice on Favourable Period of Stay for Owner– Energies of the premises change with time. A premise’s feng shui can also be greatly improved by carrying out major renovation at the right time.
  • Energies of Individual Rooms – The energies of the rooms are examined (including Aircon/ bed/study locations, colours and elements) and remedies for bad sectors and enhancement for good sectors are given.
  • Member’s Birth Data – The members’ birth data and professions are examined to determine which sectors are best suited for them.

If a person is already doing well, does he need Feng Shui? – Singapore Feng Shui Master

If a person is already doing well, does he need Feng Shui? – Singapore Feng Shui Master

Some people may be doing well for a few years and suddenly suffer in some areas in the subsequent years. Assuming that there is no change in environmental factors, one likely reason can be attributed to the change in ‘year’ energy which is now being ‘unfavorable’ at some important areas of our house. This energy is subject to change on a ‘yearly’ basis in various sectors of our premises. Read the rest of this entry »

Is Symbolic Auspicious items necessary? -Singapore FengShui Master

In Classical Feng Shui, there is no need to deal with Symbolic Auspicious items. It is the choice of the Master to include the use of Symbolic Auspicious items in the audit. The emphasis of Classical Feng Shui includes the dealing of the Location, Direction, Time Factors, the study of the Environmental Forms ( Inside and outside the house and premises such as Mountains -virtual mountain in the city, Water -virtual water bodies in the city, Terrain, Pathways), Intricate Formulae to calculate energies and the use of the Five Elements to fine-tune energies.
